We have taken the following specific steps to ensure our vision is realized:

• Educate ourselves, and our customers regarding environmentally friendly building products and practices
• Promote reduced energy use in building structures and interiors i.e. lighting, heating, and water
• Continue to practice reduced construction energy use on building sites where possible i.e. lighting, machinery, charging units, water, heating?
• Use building materials and practices that are not harmful to the environment
• Actively promote and use products that are sustainable
• Reuse and/or retain building materials where possible
• Use formaldehyde-free products such as JM insulation, laminated pine instead of plywood
• Recycle ALL paper packaging on site into specific containers
• Control indoor air pollution by using zero/low VOC paints such as Benjamin Moore Eco-Spec, and Pittsburg Paints Pure Performance, and water based stains and varnishes
• Car pool where possible
• Use only reusable bags when obtaining building materials
• Make coffee on site with reusable mugs. This will avoid the use of paper cups, plastic covers, and fossil fuels for vehicles.
• Reduce the use of paper in business transactions
• Limit use of paper in company marketing and business procedures
• Promote the use of quality building products and practices that ensure better than average lifetime use of product
